I bought Samsung UN55D8000 TV to replace my old 42 "LCD Vizio I bought 6 years ago. I did a lot of research online and decided it was either a Sony or a Samsung based on recommendations of friends and online. I went to My local electronics store to see some of the televisions in action. then I saw this in recent years the model of this TV. even though beautiful, I have a black metal stand for my Samsung UN55D8000 TV, so I though the money bezel thickness would stand out. I spoke with a colleague and I have said about the new 2011 model. it once I saw him I knew he was on TV I wanted. I did a little shopping and found Amazon had the best overall price.
